Privacy Policy

The operator of the GoodWell s.r.o. online shop, accessible via www.goodwell.czwebsite, with company ID No. 21055076 and registered office at Varšavská 715/36, 120 00 Praha (Prague) 2, Czech Republic, shall process Personal Data provided by the Buyer to fulfil and additionally confirm the General Terms and Conditions, to process online purchase orders and shipments and to facilitate the necessary communication between the Parties for the period required by applicable legislation.

General Provisions

1. The Data Controller pursuant to Section 5(o) of Act No. 18/2018 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Act") is GoodWell s.r.o., with company ID No. 21055076 and registered office at Varšavská 715/36, 120 00 Praha (Prague) 2, Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "Data Controller").

3. "Personal Data" means any information identifying individuals or legal entities.

Personal Data Sources

1. The Data Controller shall process the Personal Data obtained with the consent of the Buyer and provided by the Buyer by virtue of the Purchase Contract and for the purpose of processing online purchase orders placed through the online shop accessible via www.goodwell.cz.

2. The Data Controller shall process only the identification and contact details of the Buyer as required for the execution of the Purchase Contract.

3. The Data Controller shall process Personal Data to facilitate the delivery, to process the payment settlements and to ensure the necessary communication between the Parties for the duration mandated by applicable legislation. Personal Data shall not be disclosed and/or transferred to third countries.

Grounds for Processing of Personal Data

The Data Controller shall process Personal Data on the following grounds:

1. Registering the Buyer on the website www.goodwell.cz pursuant to Section 13(1)(a) of Act No. 18/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data;

2. Processing the online order of the Buyer (including the details of the Buyer such as name, address, email and telephone number);

3. Exercising the rights and fulfilling the obligations arising under and in connection with the contractual arrangement between the Buyer and the Data Controller;

4. Providing Personal Data essential for executing the Purchase Contract; failure to provide such Personal Data will prevent the Purchase Contract from being finalised.

Retention Period of Personal Data

1. The Data Controller shall retain the Personal Data for the period necessary to exercise the rights and fulfil the obligations arising under and in connection with the contractual arrangement between the Buyer and the Data Controller. Additionally, the retention period shall extend for 3 years following the termination of such contractual arrangement.

2. Upon the expiry of the retention periods prescribed by law, the Data Controller shall erase the relevant Personal Data.

Data Recipients and Data Processors

The Data Controller shall be entitled to provide the Personal Data to contracted third parties (hereinafter referred to as the "Processors") The Data Controller is authorised to disclose the Personal Data to the Processors, whose services are essential for the successful execution of the Purchase Contract and the completion of the online purchase order between the Controller and the Buyer.

The Processor are as follows:

  • Webnode AG (online shop system);
  • Czech Post, s.p. (delivery service);
  • Google Analytics (website analytics);

Rights of the Buyer

Under the Act, the Buyer has the following rights:

1. The right to access his/her/their Personal Data;

2. The right to have his/her/their Personal Data rectified;

3. The right to erase his/her/their Personal Data;

4. The right to object to the processing of his/her/their Personal Data;

5. The right to portability of his/her/their Personal Data;

6. The right to the right to withdraw the consent to process his/her/their Personal Data by serving a written notice or by email at prachniar@goodwell.cz;

7. The right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if the Buyer believes that his/her/their rights to protection of the Personal Data have been violated.

Personal Data Security

1. The Data Controller has implemented all appropriate technical and organisational measures required to secure the Personal Data of the Buyer.

2. The Data Controller has implemented technical measures to secure the storage of Personal Data, in particular, through password protection for computer access, antivirus software usage and regular computer maintenance.

Miscellaneous

1. By placing an online purchase order on the website www.goodwell.cz, the Buyer acknowledges that he/she/they has/have read, understood and accepted this Policy.

2. The Buyer agrees to this Policy by ticking the checkbox in the purchase order form.

3. The Data Controller reserves the right to alter and/or amend this Policy at any time. The new version of this Policy shall be published on the website of the Data Controller.

This Policy shall take effect from 11 January 2024.
